Dave Goyette Breaks CSBL Scoring Record Dave hit for 56 points on Oct 15th to establish a new single game scoring record The previous record was John JD Walko's 55 points set on Jan.25, 1997  CSBL Teams Winners in Vermont Senior Games Two teams that included current and former CSBL players traveled to Castleton State College to participate in the Vermont Senior Games. In the 65-69 Division "The Fossils battled their way to a Gold Medal. The team was comprised of Dave "Hawk" Taylor, Howard Dewey, Jim Zullu, Danny Hier and Bob Murray. Another CSBL team took the Silver Medal in the 60-64 Division and included Angelo Tarantino, Greg Wilson, Ed Dassati, Jerry Wall anf Mike Podgorski  L/R: Jim Zullu, Bob Murray, Danny Hier, Howard Dewey and Dave Taylor  L/R: Mike Podgorski, Ed Dassati, Greg Wilson, Angelo Tarantino, and Jerry Wall. 2011 TEAM PHOTOGRAPHS Dave Kaminsky has started the team photographs - after the first week we have 3 of 14 teams "on-line" CSBL TEAM WINS GOLD AT NATIONALS IN HOUSTON From June 21st to June 24th we participated in the National Senior Games 3 on 3 basketball tournament in Houston, Texas. This event, which is held every two years, hosts athletes (both men and women) from all over the country to compete in the many events, including: basketball, volleyball, tennis, track & field. To qualify for the National Games, a team and/or athletes must first qualify in a sanction state tournament during the off year. All qualifying athletes can then register to play in the National Senior Games. Our team played in the 60-64 age group. We lost our first game to a team from Dallas, Texas. However, we went on to win the next 4 out of 5 games. We beat teams from Colorado, Maryland, New Hampshire, and defeated Ohio for the gold medal game.
